Where has the time gone?

It is now December and I am not sure what happened to October or November! Since my last post my oldest son (Justin) was here for Thanksgiving. We had 9 whole days with him before he went back to Colorado. He's close to graduating from college and I am VERY proud of him!

Here are a few of the pictures I've taken from the visit.

Julianne & Cassie

I love my job! I get to have fun all afternoon and add in 2 beautiful young ladies, a wonderful mom and a very cute dog and what do you have?? The perfect job!

These two photos grabbed my attention (along with several others too). I hope you like them and I'll have the rest of them done as quickly as possible (about a week).

Billy

Billy and his family have been good friends of my family for years. It was finally time to take his Senior photos today. :)

We lucked out and had a perfect day! I have a few favorites from the session and promised Billy that I'd post my favorite here ... I have more favorites than I can really post so I forced myself to narrow it down to two (that wasn't easy)!

Logan

I knew the weather could be working against us today when we scheduled Logan's senior session -- but the weathermen said it was supposed to stop raining in the afternoon. Can you believe it? They were right!

I had a blast taking Logan's photos today and Kate was a great assistant (for me and Logan) :)

Chelsie!

I've known Chelsie for a few years and have enjoyed taking her photos in the past ... I think this session was the best one yet! To have it less than a mile away from both of our homes was an added bonus! :)

Jessica

October in Oregon can be very wet and miserable -- not today!! We had an absolutely perfect fall day! We wandered around the Pearl District a little bit - checked out the graffiti wall and went by one of the parks for some photos with great fall colors!

Jess - thanks for being willing to just go where ever! I had a lot of fun today! We got a LOT of great photos too!! This is just one of many!

Just playin'....

havin' fun designing some things -- came up with this... thought I'd share. We can easily turn something like this into graduation announcements. :)

Shawnie :-)

We took Shawnie's Senior photos today and the East winds helped us out a lot today - mother nature brought the fan for us (which made for some really great photos with Shawnies' hair blowin around just enough).

Shawnie says she's not done any modeling but I'm still not convinced. ;-) Thanks for a wonderful photo shoot! Hope you like these!

Kevin

Had a lot of fun this afternoon taking Kevin's senior photos -- We wandered around Edgefield (one of my favorite locations) and did some indoor photos too. Kevin has a hard time not smiling and he's a natural in front of the camera too!

Hope you like these (I had a difficult time selecting these - my job of narrowing down the selection won't be easy). I'll post the rest as soon as I can.

Christina - sneak peek from the session

The weather was perfect, my model was delightful and except for several other photographers having their photo sessions and a slight accident with my camera I'd say tonight was fantastic!

I've done a quick look through the photos and they turned out great! Hope you like this one. I'll get the rest done and upload as quick as I can!

Jared!

It was a little chilly for Jared's photo session yesterday, we cruised around town for most of his session. It was a lot of fun! We ended up at the river and despite the weather, he was still up for the challenge when I asked him to get in the water. I think this photo turned out great (both of them actually).

Victor

Today was Victor's Senior photo session. I've known Victor since he was in middle school so this session was a special one for me (not to mention I took his big brother's senior photos a few years ago too).

Victor was great - hopefully his feet have defrosted from standing in the pool below the waterfall (man that water was cold!) :)

This little one and his big sister are just adorable! They are the niece and nephew of the groom from a wedding I photographed last Saturday. He saw his big sister pose like this and when it was his turn for a photo he was determined to copy her. :-)

Omar

Since Omar already has his favorite from our session this afternoon - I had to post a different photo of him. :) Omar I hope you had fun this afternoon, I think your dad did a great job of making you laugh/smile! I'll have all of the photos posted in a few weeks and you can make sure your favorite is still your favorite. :)

This is Tess, we had her Senior Photo session tonight and I must say I have not laughed so much during a photo session as I did tonight! Tess has a delightfully infectious laugh and you can't help but laugh and smile too! Monica you are "da bomb" with a comb and brush!!

Kelly & Olivia

I met Kelly and Olivia tonight and despite the heat (it was really muggy - and buggy) I had a lot of fun!

In case you can't tell they're twins with great smiles and gorgeous eyes (Kelly has a great smile too I just asked her not to smile for this photo for a different look). I had a difficult time picking just one of each of them to post tonight. I have too many favorites already!

I can't wait to have the indoor part of the session next week! I hope you each like these photos.

Courtney, Kersey & Nick - Brand New Seniors!

I had one of the best, most fun Senior sessions I've ever had tonight - of course it helps when the models are very near and dear to my heart!

We still have the indoor session (yay I get to use my new backdrops) and an Urban session. We'll go wander around Portland for that one (that graffiti wall has been repainted so we need to check that out too!)

Thanks for such a fun evening and for being so willing to get in the river!!!

Ashley

Ashley stopped by for some photos last week and was a real trooper when I asked if she could come back again tonight for a few more with her hair straightened.

This is one that caught my eye from our first session and one from tonight. I will have the other photos ready soon!

Goin' to the Chapel - the Bell Tower Chapel

Leslie and Stephen had a beautiful ceremony in a gorgeous little chapel. They were surrounded by family, friends and fun - every where I turned there werw beaming smiles and people having a fantastic time!

Leslie looked absolutely amazing!

Happy 4th of July everyone

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July and got a chance to enjoy the sunshine!

We had our great friends Becky, Gregg & their boys over to the house for a BBQ. We played some games - the kids cheated I'm sure :-) - and then we walked to Blue Lake for their fireworks.

It was a great day!!
